'maxi'mum benefit.

There is something so effortlessly chic about maxi dresses. I think it is the ease in which they can switch from day to night, with very little work. Paired with a jean jacket and gladiator sandals for beach days, picnics in the park or afternoon shopping, they can easily make the transition to evening wear by adding a strappy heel and some statement jewellery. When it's stifling hot, it's comforting to know that the flowy, light material of these dresses are just within reach. Plus, I love the laid back, bohemian vibe they give off, even in a more formal environment. Although I will always love a good mini dress, I am definitely looking forward to introducing a couple cute maxi dresses into my wardrobe for summer.

Here are a few dresses I love, some in my price range, and others not so much.
